At work (a retail store), I saw a co-worker, who had the day off from the store and was on lunch from her other job, shopping, so I stopped to say 'hi'.
She said that she was looking for an outfit to wear to a Christmas party.
So I pointed to the holiday themed shirts and sweaters, saying that there were some nice ones there.
She said, "I want something I can wear more than once."
I said, "Well, if you wash it, you can wear it twice."
A customer nearby, having overheard, burst out laughing.
My co-worker told her not to encourage me and told me that she wasn't looking for something seasonal.
Since that was a different matter, I pointed out some other choices. :-)
